Limbo Puppet Theatre (demo)
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Death, puppets, cats, a clown, and classic literature.
Limbo Puppet Theatre is a visual novel that follows the story of a puppet who finds themself at The Theatre! But they can't stay here for free~! They'll have to find somewhere to belong. That not easy to do without any memories or even most basic feelings, hm?
Shed your identity and build a new ego!
Or recover the shattered remains of your heart and grasp who you once were!
and if you refuse to do either...?
You don't want to find out.
Well- that's all in the full game though...
Here in the demo you get to enjoy your new afterlife with a few new friends.... Definitely nothing bad! Fufufu~!
This is my first project, thanks for checking it out. :}
The warning list for the full game: dark themes, mentions of child abuse/neglect, religious themes, sacrilegious themes, cults, violence, murder. (this is not an extensive list, I will add more when I finish,)
Development for the full game is in progress! It's just me working on this so, I don't have a date for release just yet.
Please check the files for the full credits list! I'm very grateful to all the free resources online. I owe you all my life!!!!!!!!!!!!
If there's any bugs or errors (or even spelling mistakes...) please let me know!
I'd love to hear your thoughts so please leave a comment if you like.
Enjoy! ^w^
(sorry, I'll add an android version later when I'm not dead tired 💖✨)

That was gorgeous to play through! The characters are well designed and I love the mix of drawn characters with the contrast of the more realistic images of the backgrounds and the knight. The characters had personality through their design and the little movements and changes in their expressions really brought them to life. The script was well written and really pulled me into the story from the get go and made me feel like I was the doll whose eyes the player is viewing this world through. Excellent work and I can't wait for more!!!
